＊本書は2022年に発行されたCORNER初のシティガイドです。第2版完売後も再増刷を希望する声をいただく一方で、掲載情報の鮮度については慎重に考えてきました。そこで今回は、現在の情報にすべて更新するのではなく、当時のロサンゼルスの空気を残すアーカイブ版として一部を再編集しました。すでに閉店している場所も、当時の街の風景を形づくっていた一部として注記を添えて掲載しています。
本書は最新情報を網羅するためのガイドではなく、2022年当時のCORNERの視点で見たロサンゼルスの記録です。今では変わってしまった場所も含めて、この街に流れていた空気を感じていただきながら、それでもなお、これからロサンゼルスを旅する誰かのお供になれたら嬉しく思います。

＊This book was originally published in 2022 as the first title of Corner Publishing. Since the second printing sold out, I have continued to receive many kind requests for another reprint, while the freshness of the information has always been something I could not ignore as a city guide.
For this reprint, rather than rewriting everything to reflect the present, I have lightly re-edited the book as an archive edition that preserves the atmosphere of Los Angeles as it was in 2022. Places that have since closed remain included, with notes added, as part of the cityscape that shaped the mood of that time.
This book is not a guide that aims to provide the most up-to-date information. It is a record of Los Angeles as seen through CORNER’s perspective in 2022. I hope you will feel the atmosphere that flowed through the city then, including the places that have changed since, and that this book may still accompany someone on their journey to Los Angeles today.
